What do I do first?

If you feel that God is calling you to plant a church in our area or if you just have an interest in supporting church plants in our area, here are some things you can do to get involved.

• Contact Marc Howard and let him know of your interest.
• Send Jeff Lee an email so that we can add you to our mailing list and email newsletter.
• Begin a prayer newsletter to your friends and family detailing your call to church planting.  Include both prayer requests and praises so people can get excited about what God is doing in your life.
• Attend our monthly network meetings so you can share resources with other church planters.
• Work with David Alexander and the Mississippi Baptist Church planting department to take advantage of his skills in using demographics to target potential areas for a church plant.
• Attend a Basic Training program for church planting hosted by the Mississippi Baptist church planting department.  In the near future we hope to host one of these trainings in our area.
