LIVE SENT Sept 17-18

Register Online for the 2010 LIVE SENT conversation THEME – this year's theme is "CityChurch." LOCATION – we will be gathering together on the campus of Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL using their chapel and 8 breakout rooms.

DATES – the conversation this year will be on Friday and Saturday,September 17th and 18th.          COST – $25 if you register before September 19th

FACILITATORS – As always the main conversationalist is YOU. Helping to facilitate the conversation will be Alan Hirsch, his wife Deb, and various Reproducing Churches  Network leaders, all participating in focused, intimate conversation about how we each can be living sent daily and leading others to do the same throughout our cities.:: LODGING – there are a number of great hotels to choose from not too far from the school. The one we most recommend is the Hampton Inn just off of Polk Parkway inside the Lakeside Shopping Village.::

Guest Speaker, Barbara Beck

Barbara was born in San Antonio, Texas to Air Force parents and grew up in Winter Park, Florida from age 9 to present. She accepted Jesus as Savior at age 16 through Campus Crusade for Christ.  Barbara graduated from UCF with a BA in English Education and was Miss Florida 1971, and won a talent scholarship in the Miss America pageant. At the age of 24, Jesus came into her life as Lord and Savior. Barbara has been married for 38 years. She has taught elementary, secondary, and high school English, speech, drama, reading, tutored students and taught piano lessons and implemented Character Traits Story Telling at Brookshire Elementary School.

 She has two daughters and two adorable grandchildren. Barbara has led numerous Crown Ministries couples’ Bible studies in their home along with her husband Tommy. They also co-taught adult Sunday School. She worked for Liberty Counsel and Mat Staver as co-host on Law & Justice television program espousing 1st Amendment Rights and freedom of religion. She is currently working  for TV45 as co-host to Ken Mikesell on “The Good Life” a Christian television talk show.  Barbara is a member of 1st United Methodist Church of Winter Park and is currently leading a woman’s Bible study in her home. She has authored devotional books called “Sugar, Pearls and Corn” and “ Mother’s Musings of Life’s Everyday Happenings.”
