Best known for Disney World and the Kennedy Space Center, Central Florida has nearly 50 million tourists each year who visit our area. Thousands of Southern Baptist messengers will see what Orlando has to offer during the 151st Annual Meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention. Join us for Crossover, as we offer something back to the people of Orlando - a chance to hear about Jesus Christ.

WHAT IS CROSSOVER?
Held every year in conjunction with the SBC’s Annual Meeting, Crossover is a series of evangelistic events designed to reach people in the host city for Christ. Opportunities are available for individuals, church groups and entire families!
WHEN IS CROSSOVER?
Crossover is Saturday, June 12, 2010, but additional Crossover activities will take place several weeks before. Visit www.goba.org for the latest information and activity schedules. The SBC Annual Meeting will take place June 15-16.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?
Block Parties
With the end goal of planting new churches or strengthening existing congregations team members and churches will use creative ways to share the gospel and Jesus' love in targeted areas or neighborhoods.
Crossover Changers
A team of young people, 16 yrs. & older, who will make repairs to homes and/or community buildings and share the love of Jesus in the targeted community.
Door-to-Door Team
Witnessing and taking church census in targeted areas. Local persons will be matched-up with volunteers who will come to Orlando to help.
Follow-Up Teams
As interests are expressed in knowing more about Jesus, the church, or the Bible, and decisions are made, team members will follow-up with the objective of teaching and/or guiding the prospect to the local church.
Intentional Community Evangelism (ICE) Team
Is a specially trained team that will share their faith throughout the inner city area (Note Date: June 7-12). Team members will be matched with experienced ICE Team members who will be coming to Orlando for the week.
International Festival Team
Help stage one or two international festivals featuring native dress, displays, and food from various ethnic groups. The objective will be for the team to stage the events & use them to share Jesus and His love.
Kindness Explosion
The team members will implement acts of kindness such as, handing out bottled water with the plan of salvation in targeted high traffic areas, or targeted areas where the Crossover Changers are working in order to create evangelistic opportunities.
Prayer Team
Members will become part of the evangelistic outreach by praying for all the volunteer teams and ministry areas or locations, through prayer walks and other prayer events.
